Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
